Kayaking

So..hi.
It's been awhile.
We kayak now - we're kayakers.
So, that's a thing.
Anyway, we recently got two single kayaks from Costco - good for flat water (i.e. lakes, slow rivers, high tide) and we've had a lot of fun with them. With the singles we've been to Lake Cassidy (48.052, -122.0946), Ebey Slough (48.0475, -122.1823), Lake Ki (48.1520, -122.2635), Lake Martha (48.1682, -122.3392), and Jetty Island (48.00436, -122.22238 - it was here that a seal put its head on the back of my kayak :)).
It was so much fun that we bought a Nekky Tofino Expedition tandem from friends and took it out on its shakedown cruise this past Sunday. It was June, it was 54 degrees. Yeah.

This was off of Mukilteo (47.9443, -122.332), the Muk/Clinton ferry is in the background in front of Hat Island.
I'm going to try to update this blog with each new trip's information and pictures.
